The Clementinum in Prague is the second largest complex of buildings right after Prague Castel. Founded in 1232, it covers over 2 hectares. Large complex of Clementinum is situated next to the Charles Bridge, right in the historical centre of Prague. Many of Europe's great astronomers, musicians, scientists and philosophers have worked here and influenced the development of this wonderful array of buildings.

Nowadays it is a seat of the National library and the State technical library. The most attractive parts of the sightseeing tour in Clementinum are Astronomical Tower which is 68 meters high and presents a wonderful view of the historical centre of Prague, the Mirror Chapel with an in-wrought interior with unique built in mirrors that cannot be seen anywhere else and the Baroque Library hall with splendid fresco paintings on the ceiling.
